Buying presents stress me out mainy for these reasons:

-I have no money
-I don't know what to buy for people and half of the time they just return/exchange it anyways
-I have no time to actually shop around for the best deals and see what is available out there
-I don't even have time to write my Christmas cards yet
-I hate dealing with crowds and especially angry holiday shopper crowd

I work with a bunch of characters. They're all crazy in varying degrees and in their own special way, but all crazy, including myself. I mean why else would I work so hard for so little pay? I just wish that all of you could see me and my coworkers in action on a super busy Saturday night like tonight. It's like a big hive of bees buzzing around...really crazy bees. That's about as close as I can come to describing it.  I will be very sad when I have to move in the summer time away from my beloved crazy worker bees. Is it really a surprised when my two favorite coworkers are in their 50's? Because you guys all know deep down inside I'm just a grumpy old grandma.

The most awkward question that I got asked this weekend was, "Do you have a vasectomy special?" Apparently the guy was getting one done after lunch and was super nervous about it. I lamely replied, "Well I guess it's a good reason to be nervous because it's a major procedure." What would YOU have said to the guy? One of my funnier coworkers said to bring them back and we'll stir fry it for him. Lol! So many things wrong with that sentence. He's not getting his balls cut off shesh but still it was funny at the time. Anyways since then I've learned that a vasectomy is actually not that major of a procedure. All they do is make some incisions and you're done. Of course you'd probably have to lie around a couple of days and ice down your boys a lot. But I suppose I meant that it's a major decision in the way that you won't be having anymore children. Except now that I think about it, vasectomy is a reversible procedure. Wow this is a lot more than I want to write about vasectomy.

So I ♥ Sunday mornings because I can lie in bed and just chill. I don't need to do anything and there's no place in the world that I need to be. I can catch up on all my favorite shows online. Due to my insane work schedule I never get to stay at home and watch my favorite prime time shows. But lucky for me all the big networks are re-showing their programings online. This season I've been really addicted to Heroes, Samantha Who,  House, Gossip Girls, Blood Ties, Men in Trees, and Moonlight. What is everybody watching these days? Tell me what else I should be watching. Don't say Grey's Anatomy because I haven't been following it since season 1 and I can't just jump in the middle and watch something. No CSI either. I mean, I know those shows are great but I can't get into a show in the middle of a season. I must follow it from the beginning.

So a couple of weeks ago a squirrel made a nest inside the cover for our AC unit that we left lying around the balcony because we were too lazy to put it up. But anyways we finally cleaned it out and put the cover on so that the cold air won't get into our apartment. I felt so bad when I threw away the squirrel's nest because it must have taken it a couple of days to build that thing. I was really worried it wouldn't have a home for winter what with the cold weather coming and everything.  But it did really freaked me out whenever I sit in the livingroom at night watching tv and hearing the sound of tiny little feet scurrying around. Anyways just now I saw the squirrel on our balcony sniffing around and seeming puzzled about where its nest was. The thing must have ran around our balcony in circles like 3 or 4 times. This makes me feel even worse. I destroyed a small creature's home =( I wonder if the squirrel will make it through the winter? What's a girl to do?

Why I haven't been updating as of late:

1) I work a billion + hours a week.
2) Nothing new is going on in my life therefore nothing to write about.
3) What little news I felt like sharing, I've been sharing them with my sig other, Kevie, via email thus fulfilling my need to share my thoughts with a community of semi-strangers.

Fall is definitely one of my favorite seasons of the year and it's almost here. This is when the leaves change colors and the hot summer weather turns cool and bareable. Also I love fall fashion. You get to wear boots and sweaters and cute scarves. What's not to love about fall? 

Also another reason why I love fall is that there are always something to do. Well technically there are always something to do in this town but I think I get more motivated to do them because the weather's not so hot and humid anymore. Besides it's one last hurrah before winter comes and you're trapped indoors all the time. This fall I'm going to go to an apple farm and  pick apples and watch them make cider. And carve pumpkins for Halloween, which is my favorite holiday ever. Oh the Madison Food and Wine tasting thing is in October. I'm going to be busy this Fall. I love it!

I really hate how when I first discover new bands/music and then 6 months later they will play it on the radio in WI and call it new. It's like WTF&^^%$*&(^%^%^$)(*^!@#annoying*^$@#$%^(*&^%don't make me strangle you Homer Simpson style^&%$#%%^%^%#raises fist in the air$%^(*^%%

Oh yes I have new pictures to post but as of right now I'm too lazy to get off my butt. Maybe someday soon I'll be motivated to sort through all the pictures and post them.

Paper Dolls Traits and Tendencies

Paper Dolls don't do well when separated; they need regular physical contact to keep in sync. If forced to remain apart for a stretch any longer than eight to ten hours, they can sometimes feel untethered, or even dizzy. But once reunited, all it takes is the simple brush of fingers, or a surreptitious foot-on-foot press under the table, and all is right with the Paper Dolls once again.

So I went and bought a new camera today because mine broke a few months ago and my coupon for Best Buy was about to be expired. Anyways I bought the Sony Cybershot T200. It's an awesome camera so far and it looks so pretty =)

The reason why there's no buttons on the back is because it's a touch screen. It's an 8 mega pixel which means along with your smile it'll capture all the pimples and pores on your face muhahahahha. So one of the cool features of my camera is that you can draw on the pictures after you take them right on the camera. And as you can see the before and after of my "artistic" talents.

Oh yeah I also saw "Balls of Fury" with the boys today. It was really funny. I laughed the whole time. But it's the stupid humor similar to that of Dodge Ball and Zoolander, which are some of my favorite movies ever. What can I say, I laugh when people do stupid things. After the movies we all went to Thanh's parents' house bc they were grilling out and his mom is a really good cook. We had grileld pork chops and chicken breasts...yummo as Rachel Ray would say. I haven't had a home cooked meal in a long time.

        

1. I got a promotion at work to supervisor. It means I get paid $12/hour and I get free food. That's pretty much it. I have no authoritative power just a title. Hehehe they even gave me a business card. Oh and I start training to be a bartender sometime next week.

2. I went to the DMV 2 days in a row because I forgot some paper work and had to come back the next day. Each time I waited for at least an hour or more. But now that's all finish I have a WI driver's license and plates for my car. Oh yeah the car is all paid off and all mine....mine now. And also the people at the DMV have no sense of humor what.so.ever. They are lifeless, souless creatures.

3. I spent $220 on new clothes for my promotion and only got like 5 things...wtf???

4. I still want that Prada purse.

5. This weekend is the 25th annual Taste of Madison when over 65 restaurants cook up some of their specialties. I'll be there on Sunday. Anyone care to join me?

6. I folded over 3 weeks worth of laundry tonight. It feels so good.

Ok that's all I can think up of right now.

Guess who got flowers at work today? That's right, yours truly. They're gorgeous too. And all the girls were jealous and wish they had such an awesome bf as mine. =)



I can't believe 6 months has gone by already. Time sure does fly when you're having fun. I'm looking forward to what the next 6 months will bring. I love you sweetheart.

I got my eyebrows threaded today for the very first time! It's the latest rage says Oprah. If you don't know what it is.
Here is an educational video. It was very interesting and didn't hurt as much as waxing did and my eyebrows were not red for an hour afterwards. I love it!

My birthday has come and gone and I don't feel like I'm any older. Kevin didn't get to call me because he's away on some stupid mission at the gay JSS. We actually talked about this several weeks ago but he's going to miss so many holidays and events. I don't think we're going to have many holidays together in the next three years =( But that's alright. It's just going to make the ones we get to spend together that much more meaningful and special. Plus we have the rest of our lives together so I'm not going to be sad.

I've been looking at jobs listing and I have an interview with a temp agency next week. I'll apply for a couple of jobs and see where it leads me. I'm 24 years old, how is it that I have no experience and a Bachelor's Degree that I can't use? Maybe I should go back to school. Who knows. What do I know is that being with Kevin makes me want to be a better person. I want to achieve more so he can be proud of me.

-So my friends successfully got me drunk at my bday party, BEFORE we even went out to the bars.
-Not really excited about turning 24 since it's nothing really special and I don't even get to celebrate it with my someone special.
-My roomie got engaged tonight. I'm jealous hehehe
-Got into another fight with my mother but she was asking for it calling me like a bajillion times this weekend.
-*Sigh* Kevin has to go back to doing those stupid 3-4 days missions where he'll be out of contact during those days. Yup that's right no phone calls, no emails and no chatting.
-I had a bad addiction to Lifetime TV

1) To find a good paying job
2) Find an apartment
3) Move out on my own

He's been gone for almost a week now and I still miss him like crazy. The pain in my heart hasn't gone away yet. I don't even know if it will go away until he's home. I love you Kevie!

-The Army gave my bf a talk on sex. Lol that's hilarious.
-I'm going to watch a documentary on Iraq with some friends and one of Kevin's brothers on Wednesday night. I'm quite nervous about it because if Brian doesn't like me, it would pretty much mean the relationship with Kevin is doomed.
-I'm craving fish tacos. I mean food you pervert. What the hell are you thinking? Dirty mind. I hate it when they batter and fry the fish. It's much better fresh and sautee. I think I'm gonna go to Joey's for dinner tonight hehehehe.
-Damn it I can't sleep!

The David Copperfield show was amazing! He's so talented and not to mention cute for an old guy. He's so funny too. I loved it! I can't believe we had 3rd row seats. It was awesome. Sadly I did not get called up on stage to participate in a trick. I would have loved it though.
